2 TEASPOONS BAKING SODA
1 PKG CHOPPED DATES
1 TEASPOON SALT
1 CUP NUTMEATS
2 TEASPOONS VANILLA
CREAM BUTTER AND SUGARS AND ADD WELL BEATEN EGGS
INTO A BOWL, ADD SODA ,SALT, DATES, AND NUTS AND POUR BOILING WATER LOVER THEM.
THEN ADD TO THE BATTER AND EGG MIXTURE
ADD FLOUR AND VANILLA AND STIR WELL
GREASE AND FLOUR 5 #2 CANS, FILL HALF FULL AND BAKE IN SLOW OVEN *325 FOR 1 HOUR
